The Macedonian Call Ministries

Apostle Pool answered the call to ministry in January 1983 after having a personal experience and revelation of the Lord. He then committed himself to a diligent search and study of the scriptures. Apostle Pool was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1984, after having grown up as a Baptist. In 1987, Apostle Pool met Elder Del G. Jackson of the I Am Ministries, who became his personal friend and mentor in the gospel. He also served under Elder Jackson as Vice President of the I Am Ministries until 1993 when Elder Jackson moved to Austin Texas.

Apostle Pool received his first pastoral assignment in 1987 at the New Life Christian Center in Houston, Texas under the Pastorship of David O. Roberson Sr., where he served as Men's Ministry Pastor. In 1991, he took an assignment as Associate Pastor of South Post Oak Baptist Church, under the Pastorship of Remus E. Wright also in Houston, Texas, now known as The Fountain of Praise, where he served as Pastor of Prayer and Evangelism until 1994. It was while serving at South Post Oak that God revealed and confirmed his call to the Apostleship by allowing him to found and establish The Macedonian Call Ministries in 1993. The biblical basis and foundation of the ministry is found in Acts 16:9. Apostle Pool has a heart to help build up, strengthen, and if necessary re-direct or re-establish smaller struggling ministries. He has a strong teaching gift and also flows in the area of intercession.

In 1994, he met Apostle Tim Early of the Tabernacles of Restoration ministry who was instrumental in recognizing and affirming the apostolic call in his life. Tim also affirmed him as an apostle to the body of Christ on August 12, 2001.

Also in 1994, he was instrumental in founding and establishing Faith Fellowship Christian Center which was established in his home and was relinquished into the hands and leadership of Elder Cedric Cooper in 1995.

Apostle Pool is also in covenant with Apostle Donald Graham and The Center of the Great Commission of Decatur, GA, where he was recognized and affirmed as a Lead Apostle and member of the Board in November 2002.

Apostle Pool also serves on the board of Mission to Africa Inc. under the leadership of Apostle Jerome O. Etinfu, of The Word of Hope Revival Church located in Houston, TX.

Apostle Pool is the proud husband of Jo Lynne Pool, who is an author and teacher in her own right. Apostle Pool and family reside in Humble, Texas, which is a northern suburb of Houston.
